Job description for Motorcycle Technician
XPR Motorsports is a full service, high-performance shop specializing in dirt bikes. We take pride in the work that we do and the quality of our product. We work with pro-level riders, race teams, and amateurs in the Supercross and Motocross industry. We also perform general service and modifications on dirt bikes for the public.
Under general supervision, the Motorcycle Technician provides a high level of technical service and equipment maintenance to support the riders and clients. We are seeking a technician that is confident with building engines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engine building experience on current 4 stroke models
- Engine tear down, inspect and clean of race and practice motors
- Service, diagnose, and repair all major branded motorcycles
- Perform rebuilds and maintains race and practice motors
- Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and appropriate manner
KNOWLEDGE AND CRITICAL SKILLS
- Ability to diagnose, repair and perform routine maintenance
- Knowledge of motorcycle industry, technologies, regulations, and performance issues
- Excellent organization skills
- Takes initiative
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
Rate of pay will depend on experience, knowledge, and mechanical ability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,280.00 - $45,760.00 per year
